Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure - Sunshine List 2015

The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, 1996 makes Ontario’s public sector more open and accountable to taxpayers. The act requires organizations that receive public funding from the Province of Ontario to make public, by March 31 each year, the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in the previous calendar year.

2015 Ontario Sunshine List: Public Health Ontario Top Earners

Topping the list for the Public Health Ontario was Vice President, Science and Public Health / Vice-président, Sciences et santé publique George Pasut, who brought home $407,724.38 in 2014.

Following George Pasut was Chief, Medical Microbiology / Directrice générale, microbiologie médicale Vanessa Allen, with annual earnings of $356,885.27. Vice President, Corporate Services and Human Resources / Vice-présidente, Services corporatifs et Ressources humaines Donna Marafioti made $340,828.72, Chief, Health Prevention and Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention / Directrice générale, Promotion de la santé, Prévention des maladies chroniques et des traumatismes Heather Manson made $324,548.20, and Chief, Emergency Preparedness and Executive Lead Service Integration / Directeur général, Préparation aux situations d'urgence et Intégration des services Brian Schwartz round out the top-five highest-paid employees with $324,548.20 for the Public Health Ontario 2015 Sunshine List.
